Unfortunately, we?ve found that these coolers often sacrifice cooling performance when the engine is pushed for long periods.----The Mishimoto Miata oil cooler kit remedies this by removing the liquid-to-liquid cooler and replacing it with a 19-row stacked-plate oil cooler. Application-specific brackets place the cooler directly in front of the radiator for maximum airflow while -10AN braided stainless-steel lines carry oil to the cooler via a direct-fit sandwich plate and adapter. With this kit installed, Mishimoto engineers saw consistent temperature decreases of up to 57-degees (29.5-degrees C) using our non-thermostatic sandwich plate.----This oil cooler kit is available in a sleek silver or stealth black powder-coated finish with your choice of either the Mishimoto thermostatic oil sandwich plate or the Mishimoto non-thermostatic oil sandwich plate.
