Product Description
The AEM 21-8502DC Brute Force Air Intake System produces horsepower and torque gains for high displacement engines by replacing the vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Nissan Titan, Armada and Pathfinder as well as Infiniti QX56 models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is located in the original air box space and is protected by a heat shield which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the mass air flow sensor and two replacement silicone breather hoses. The cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are 50 state legal. AEM Lifetime Limited Warranty: This warranty lasts for the lifetime of the Product. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the Product and is non-transferable. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of your AEM Air Intake System or AEM OE Replacement Filter (the “Product”), with the exceptions stated below. This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).
AEM One-Year Limited Warranty: This warranty lasts for One-Year from the date of purchased product. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the Product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if we repair or replace the Product. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of your AEM Universal & Special Air Filter or AEM Accessory (the “Product”), with the exceptions stated below. This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).
