Fuel Injection - Go EFI 2x4 Power Adder - Throttle Body - Square Bore - 70 lb/hr Injectors - Aluminum - Black Anodized - Universal - Kit
Dual Quad for Supercharger Engines
The Go EFI 2x4 Power Adder 1200HP Matte Black Self-Tuning Fuel Injection system is rated at 1200hp but is suitable for engines from 400hp thru 1200hp. This Kit is for the guys who have 671 and 871 roots superchargers or make up to 1200hp naturally aspirated on their dual quad setup. FiTech EFI has made it simple with their Go EFI 2x4 Power Adder 1200hp self-tuning system. Works out of the box on your 2?4 blower plate as an inline setup or can be side mounted using custom linkages. Also, this kit is a bolt on for the most popular normally aspirated dual quad and tunnel ram manifolds including the Edelbrock line of dual quad manifolds without any adapters! They fit and look like they belong there because they were designed to fit from the start. One throttle body handles all of the brains while the second holds 4 additional injectors plus the IAC motor for idle stability. These can also be used in cross ram and tunnel ram configurations.

How to adjust the IAC steps
One thing I want to make sure on is the IAC is set correctly and that you set the throttle blades front and rear using both adjustment throttle screws on both throttle body?s. It is commonly done that this is set using only the front throttle screw and if it is not set with the back it can create all types of issues. Here is the procedure to do that.
This will be done with the engine off and key does not need to be on.
- 1. Disconnect the throttle linkage from the throttle body?s and do not link them together at this point, so we know it is not moving or holding the throttle.
- 2. Unscrew both front and rear adjustment screws on both throttle body?s so they just come off of the pivot arm stop.
- 3. Starting with the front screw, screw the adjustment screw in until it touches the pivot stop and you just see the throttle arm/blades just start to move. Once you see this movement screw the screw in turn (If the engine is pretty stout go ?-1 turn in). Do this on both throttle body?s.
- 4. On the rear screw we are going to do the exact same thing, screw the adjustment in until you see it touch and move then go a turn (If the engine is pretty stout go ?-1 turn in) Do this on both throttle body?s.
- 5. This will set the blades close enough to start and warm up for final adjustment. We just want the engine to idle, if it is high that is ok until it warms up if it is low and wont idle go in a small amount on both screws until it will idle.
- 6. Turn the key on do not start, at this point we want to clear the leaned data that the car has learned previously this way we can have a clean slate when we start. Go to Go-EFI Initial Setup then go to Reset Learn, inside reset learn go to Reset IAC Data by switching the 0 to 1 and hit send to ECU. This will erase all leaned data but will not change any of your base settings. Turn the key off for 30 ish seconds.
- 7. Start engine and let it warm up to 170 degrees F then look at the IAC steps on your dashboard. With the engine running and the temp at or above 170 adjust accordingly. If the IAC is above 10 you will screw in all four screws equally until the IAC steps falls below 10 but does not sit on zero. If the IAC steps are staying on Zero and the idle is above the desired setting you will unscrew all screws equally until the IAC jumps back and forth from a number under 10 but not staying on zero.
- 8. While you are making your fine adjustments keep an eye on the TPS value, if it goes above 0 shut the engine off and let it sit for 30-45 seconds. Turn the ignition back on and go into Go-EFI Initial Setup then go to reset TPS Learn, inside reset learn go to Reset TPS Data by switching the 0 to 1 and hit send to ECU. Continue with the throttle blade adjustment.
- 9. Reconnect the throttle cable/rod.
Normally when the IAC is correct it will jump between 0 and a number under 10 if it never sits on 0 but stays under 10 when the car is warmed up in park the IAC is set. Let us know if you have any issues or questions.
Ken Farrell and Jeremy Schmidt were determined to use their decades of aftermarket and OE fuel-injection design and manufacturing experience to develop wide-band EFI systems that were affordable and with an array of great features. As a result, they formed FiTech, an American company based in Riverside, California. FiTech has developed a potpourri of self-learning, wide-band EFI systems that give you lots to choose from.
For the budget-minded FiTech designed systems that offer a multiplicity of features, all in a compact throttle body-style unit that bolts in place on a carbureted intake manifold and are fueled either by stock mechanical fuel or by any upgraded aftermarket EFI fuel system. And FiTech wanted to take care of you dedicated racers, so most FiTech units can be programmed with a laptop affording you full access to fuel and timing maps. Deep control is available for power adders like boost-referenced timing retard, nitrous retard, and safety windows.
Since its inception, FiTech is on the road to becoming the most avant-garde fuel injection system on today’s market and, best of all, they work on engines reaching up to 1200 horsepower for avid racers. They can be used in dual quad, nitrous, and boosted engines in addition to standard single four barrel intakes. FiTech has a kit for just about every application and the units are housed in compact units that contain the fuel injectors, computers, fuel pressure regulator, plus the throttle body itself. Plus, all of the FiTech units are self-turning with the included hand-held controller, but they can also be tuned professionally.
