Ideal for offroad and rally use – the shell of the RECARO Profi SPG with glass fiber reinforced polymer has been proven many times over and offer superb lateral hold on the race track and offroad. The XL variant of the seat is wider and higher, with larger belt slots.

You can’t argue with success and part of measuring the success of any business is longevity so let’s take a look at an inimitable company RECARO. Astonishingly RECARO’s history dates back to the year 1906 when a man by the name of Wilhelm Reutter, a master saddler, began developing and producing interior fittings and primo seats for automobiles. Then fast forward to the year 1965 when the RECARO company launched their original retrofit seat for automobiles that revolutionized the industry with the introduction of foam upholstery and their idiosyncratic side bolsters.
Not a company to rest on its laurels, RECARO went on to design their consummate “shell seat” in 1967 and in doing so introduced the company’s first road-legal full shell seat. This nonpareil seat defies competition when it comes to safety, lightweight construction and comfort with a body-hugging seat shell that offers the driver the ability to make adjustments and of course it has foam upholstery.
RECARDO’s ingenuity and forward thinking can be seen in its 1977 product that was introduced under the name RECAROfonie and featured none other than loudspeakers that were incorporated into the seat headrest. Then twelve years later they once again came to the forefront in seat design by ushering in a unique sports seat that featured a back shell that was made of plastic.
Always forward thinking and with your safety in mind RECARO in 2004 revealed the premier retrofitted universal side airbag seat with ABE and they made it available for various models. Then a year later they again made history by introducing to the world their progressive new seat design that was manufactured with the company’s revolutionary lightweight composite shell.
Cognizant of the changing times and their customer’s needs RECARO went on to develop avant-garde features for electrified and comfort-optimized commercial vehicle seats that had autonomous driving as their goal. And then for their most discerning customers they proudly introduced the limited edition RECARO Sportster CS with a sui generis compilation of a primo racing shell and a comfortable sports seat that affords a compelling ride on the road and on the track. For those of you who enjoy the experience that off-road offers the RECARO Cross Sportster ORV and RECARO Pro Racer SPG XL ORV seats were designed with you in mind and they are available in an exceptionally robust seat range.

Recaro Warranty Policy
Recaro Warranty: Subject to the exclusions, conditions and limitations set forth below Recaro North America, Inc., ("Recaro") warrants that aftermarket automotive and light truck seating products made by Recaro (the "Products") are not defective as defined below. This warranty extends only to authorized Recaro dealers and the first retail purchaser from an authorized Recaro dealer who places the Product into service (the "Customer") and will terminate at the earlier of two years from the date, as applicable, at which the Product is first placed into service. A Product will be considered defective if it’s defective in materials or workmanship and if the defect materially impairs the value of the Product to Customer under normal use, maintenance and service.
Exclusions: A Product will not be considered defective and this warranty will not apply, where the claimed defect is attributable to:
- a) Improper installation;
- b) Modification or alteration of the Product;
- c) Failure to comply with Recaro’s instructions for service and maintenance;
- d) Accident, unauthorized repairs, or unauthorized use;
- e) Any attachment or replacement part that was manufactured, supplied or added by others and was not part of the Product;
- f) Exposure to corrosive materials, the elements (including, but not limited to cold or freezing temperatures, excessive heat, fire, humidity, and sunlight), or other acts of God;
- g) Ordinary wear and tear (including fading and discoloration);
- h) Improper loads (including passenger weight in excess of design limits);
- i) Removal of the Product from the original application or reinstallation of the Product in the original or another application; or
- j) Any other neglect, abuse or misuse.
This warranty does not apply to normal maintenance items.
Remedies: If any Product proves to be defective (as defined above) during the warranty period and if Customer complies with all of the obligations, under this warranty, then Recaro will, at its opinion, either repair or replace the defective Product. If Recaro fails to repair or replace any defective Product within a reasonable time, its liability to customer will be limited to the purchase price of the Product. These remedies are Customer’s sole and exclusive remedies for any defect in the Product. If Customer fails to comply with the obligations under this warranty, including, but not limited to, by failing to provide proper notice of the defect or failing to return the Product within the specified period, then any claim for breach of warranty will be conclusively deemed to have been waived by Customer with respect to the alleged defect.
Disclaimer: All warranties stated herein are in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, statutory or otherwise; provided, however, that any implied warranty is limited to the duration of the express limited warranty described in the first paragraph. Neither Recaro nor any affiliate of Recaro shall have any liability to Customer or any other person for consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, indirect, or punitive damages based upon breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict liability, tort or any other legal theory and arising from any defect, including, but not limited to, personal injury or death (if permitted by applicable law), property damage, loss of time or other economic injury. Recaro shall not be liable to Customer or any other person in tort for any negligent design or manufacture of the products, or for the omission of any warning with respect thereto. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from State to State.
No Other Warranties: Neither Customer nor Service Partner, nor any other person may modify or expand the warranty provided herein, waive any of the limitations, or make any different or additional warranties with respect to the Product except in a writing signed by an authorized officer of Recaro. Recaro reserves the right to change or improve its products without any obligation to change or improve any Product previously manufactured by it.

LMPerformance is not responsible for buyer not complying with Federal, State, Province, and/or Local laws, ordinances, and regulations. This policy shall be in force for all past, current, and future purchases from LMPerformance, Inc. LMPerformance will not ship ANY non-CARB compliant products to California where California requires products to be CARB certified such as Catalytic Converters and Induction Kits.
FREE SHIPPING: Please note FREE Shipping refers to shipping within the contiguous continental US only. All other locations extra. Some items that require Truck Freight Delivery will require a Truck Freight surcharge. This surcharge is still a discounted shipping amount that is lower then the actual truck freight shipping charge that is charged to LMP. LMP will try to still give the lowest price possible for truck freight items.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS: Some items are special ordered and may not be returnable, or even cancellable as they are going into production specifically because you ordered them. Special ordered items can have a 5-35% cancelation fee.
Cancellations: Instock orders cannot be canceled due to our automated ordering & fast shipping system. To keep our prices low, all cancelations are subject to a 5% cancelation fee to cover transaction processing fees. We reserve the right to charge up to a 10% cancellation fee for cancelled orders due to merchant fees, special order fees and the cost of processing and shipping orders.When you request a cancellation of an order or a part, please note that it may take time for a manufacturer to cancel an order if the order is drop-shipped. We also have to confirm that the product has not shipped. If the product has shipped then this must be processed as a return.Also note that sometimes products ship more quickly than expected, so we recommend that you do not purchase alternative products until receiving final confirmation of the cancellation.
Returns:We cannot accept returns on parts that have been used or installed. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. All Returns must be in original packaging. Prior authorization must be given before any return can be made. Up to a 25% Restocking Fee may apply. Special orders may be subject to Additional Manufacturer Restock Fees as well. Shipping cost will not be refunded.Hoods as well as PCM Programmers may not be returned unless defective and only for replacement. Lost Order ClaimsAll lost order/package claims must be made within 5 days of the shipping date or tracking information delivery date. All claimes made after this date will not be accepted due to Shipping companies policies of filing loss claims.
Damaged Items or Incorrect Items: Please contact us right away if your item has been damaged in shipping or are incorrect. Please note that we will ship replacement items the same method of shipping the order was originally placed for. LMPerformance can not ship packages overnight at our cost if the original shipping was not also overnight. Claims must be filed in order for replacement parts to be shipped.
Warranties:Any warranty claims must be placed with the manufacturer. All of the products sold by LMPerformance, regardless of the manufacturer, are designed for Racing and Performance applications. Many of our manufacturers offer NO WARRANTY on their products, either stated or implied, due to the unusual stresses placed on the parts and because we have no control over how they are installed and used. Many of these products are designed for off-road use only and are not legal for use on public highways. If you have a question about the warranty on a specific product, please e-mail or call us. Buyer assumes all risk and liability associated with these products.
Installation:We are not responsible for or any costs associated with the installation or the improper installation of any products. Purchaser assumes the risk associated with the installation of products. We, along with the manufacturer of each product are not responsible for any direct or indirect damage to the vehicle, personal, or costs incurred from the use of products.
