These 3 inch Pypes Hybrid Systems use our 3 inch X-Pipe technology and a set of custom (3 inch in to 2.5 inch out) mufflers connected to a set of 2.5 inch mandrel bent tailpipes.
These kits are complete with all the required 3 inch to 2.5 inch components to get you from the cross-member back with ease. All components are constructed of 409 stainless steel and backed by our limited lifetime warranty.
These systems are the way to go for higher horsepower vehicles that have out-grown standard 2.5 inch systems, but suffer from serious tailpipe space limitations.
Pypes Hybrid 3 inch System design allows for optimal flow while the OEM style 2.5 inch tailpipes provide ideal fitment. The increased volume through the 3 inch X-Pipe and 3 inch Mufflers means better engine breathability with more torque and horsepower.
The 3 inch Hybrid design releases backpressure and scavenges the exhaust through the X-Pipe, this creates a higher velocity of flow that results in increases to your carΓ?s overall performance

Pypes manufacturers a wide array of systems for a large range of vehicles. Pypes exhaust systems and crossover systems are a very popular choice of early Muscle cars such as the OLDS 442, B-Body, A-Body, G-Body, and the 1967-81 Camaros and Firebirds. Pypes also manufacturers headers and exhausts for newer muscle cars such as the Mustang, Camaro, Dodge Charger and Challenger. These systems feature 304 stainless steel and are available with or without X-pipes. Pypes' Mustang exhaust products are made of stainless steel materials for quality and durability. Warranty: All products manufactured by PPE are guaranteed to be free from defects in the materials and workmanship at the time of sale. Sound or tone is not a warrantable/returnable issue. The products are guaranteed to fit and perform on their intended applications, provided the vehicle has not been modified* or suffered structural damage. When a shipment is received damaged; the consumer must contact the carrier to start a damage claim. All warranty claims must have a return authorization and will be reviewed by our claims team. At this point, it is our option to repair or replace the component. PPE reserves the right to replace any product that has been discontinued from its product line with a new product of comparable value and functionality. Under no circumstances shall the warranty be transferable or assignable. Any and all costs to remove and/or replace a warranted product are not covered by this warranty, including the shipment to and from PPE for the replacement. Also loss of vehicle, rentals or towing is not covered. Other than the warranty described above, all PPE products are sold “AS IS” and no other warranty is implied. At any time, the terms of this warranty are severable.
***PPE catalytic converters carry a 3 year/50,000 mile limited warranty. This specific warranty covers applications which are in good working/running order. The warranty does not cover converter failure due to poor running/performing engine, excessive fuel, nitrous oxide, superchargers, oil, antifreeze, improper O2 sensor function, road damage or hanger breakage.
The coating on all black powder coat tips is covered under warranty for 1 year from time of purchase. The coating on the inner walls of the tip are not covered under warranty.
